About

Tania Fardella founded Indigo Design in 2001, with a focus on graphic design for a wide variety of projects ranging from brochures and publications, to logos, branding, catalogs, infographics, promotional items, trade show booth signage, and advertising. 

With an excellent eye for typography as well as the highest level of client care and communication, she strives to create pieces that are powerful, effective, and timeless. Highly organized, she excels in project management, ensuring that design and production follow a realistic timeline, and that her clients have their final piece in-hand on time, and as expected. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from California State University East Bay, and a certificate in Graphic Design from Platt College in Oakland.

Born in San Francisco and currently based in Southern California, she is a also a musician and writer. She has worked as a stage manager for the Ten O’Clock News at KTVU in Oakland, and also traveled extensively during her five years as a corporate travel agent. She has run both the San Francisco and San Diego marathons, cooked for Julia Child, and loves the beach, caffeine, sunshine, skateboarding, documentaries, maps, jacaranda trees, biographies, blue skies, the library, nature, and animals of all kinds.
